How privacy, offers, verification, payment and promotion work on Baroow Marketplace.
Does it cost anything to list an item?
A standard Marketplace listing is free where Marketplace selling is active. When an optional promotion plan is active, its price, duration and placement are shown separately before payment. Promotion does not guarantee views, messages, offers or a sale.
What does Listing Magic AI do?
Add item photos and Baroow can suggest a category, title, details, condition and price. You must check and approve the final listing before submitting it.
Will my phone number appear publicly?
Phone numbers and other contact details are not allowed in Marketplace listing titles or descriptions. Start with Baroow messages or offers and decide whether to share more details later.
How does negotiation work?
Where offers are enabled, a buyer can make an offer and you can accept, decline or counter it. The discussion remains connected to the listing conversation.
Does Baroow take payment for the item?
No. Marketplace item payments and handovers are arranged directly between buyer and seller. Baroow does not hold the payment or provide a refund for money paid outside Baroow.
Do I need identity verification?
Some sellers can begin with limited activity, but verification may be required for higher-value items, higher listing volume or other trust checks. The listing flow shows the requirement that applies.
